Origin of the plant name comes from the Greek word drakaina meaning female dragon.That is why these gorgeous plants are often called dragon plants.
Originating from dry areas in the tropical rainforests. In their native environment they could grow up to 1500 metres and may live for hundreds of years. Most Dracaena species have been tested to help improve air quality.
Song of Jamaica holds a carefree vibe, as the plant requires very low maintenance. This is a slow growing, easy-care plant that can be used as a table plant, bush, or short tree. They tolerate low light, low humidity, and they won’t be mad at you for missing watering every now and then.
