Adorably rusty coloured heart-leaf plant that climbs!
The name Philodendron comes from the Greek word phileo, meaning “to love” and dendron meaning “tree”. What is not to love about the velvety green plant? As a climbing vine, Philodendron Micans will look great when placed on a hanging basket or train them to climb on a pole.
They are commonly known for their beautiful green and bronze velvety heart-shaped leaves. However the colour of the leaves depends on where you place them and their access to light. In areas that are semi-shade, the leaves will be velvety green, purple and even rust hue, with new leaves edged in pink. Too much sun can take the foliage on a deep green hue.
