The thing we are most happy (but semi-frustrated about since it keeps our database messy) about living in Indonesia is that the farmers and botanists like to make new hybrid species. These Prayer Plant is a hybrid Goeppertia, and they are commonly mistaken as a Calathea-type. We are not so sure what is the specific name of the hybrid but we are very sure there is a combination of Goeppertia picturata ‘Vandenheckei’ and Goeppertia ‘Medallion’ snooping around.
