Frequently spotted as an edge in the tropical forest, these Prayer Plants’ original region is unknown but may have been a variety that comes from Calathea loeseneri as they have similar blooming white-pinkish inflorescence.
Their beautiful leaves are glossy greenish-grey on top, purple below, sometimes with green margin, broadly ovate. A wonderful addition as an indoor plant for your lively collection. Prayer plants are quite a delicate plant, it is better not to repot the lovely foliage. However, when necessary to repot, make sure to take parts of the old mixing soil especially that are attached in the roots to the new ones as they get very stressed out easily during the adaptation period.
