Known as an easygoing plant, Pink Aglaonema is your perfect choice if this is your first time caring for a plant!
The plant’s name was given by the botanist, Gregory Garnadi Hambali, encountering an owner of a shop named Donna in the border of Brazil and Bolivia. She gave an admirable impression of her warmth and friendliness, that the distinctive plant with tinged pink veins and speckled cream streaks was named after her.
Pink Aglaonema was a result of plant-crossings between Aglaonema rotundum and Aglaonema commutatum “Tricolor” and later crossed again with Aglaonema brevispathum. The beautiful foliage of yellow and green was introduced in 1985 and gained favourable popularity since then.
